This is one of the Hairy Woodpeckers (I think; I'm pretty sure our Downy Woodpeckers are about three times that size, LOL, but I'm not sure) that live out on our old ranch. We've sold the ranch now, but he was still totally awesome. He didn't like people or my dog at all, but it was fun to watch him eat and climb trees right outside our kitchen window. His name is Woody. ^^ I know, original, eh? XD He will be missed. Oh, and it's obviously in the wintertime and he's eating sewwet (sp?) Pretty, isn't he? ^^ And I'm sorry about the poor quality, but it was taken through a closed window. Hope you like it anyway.
