Artist's Comments
Here is a shot I took, also in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Medora, ND, of a flock of about 100 Bohemian and Cedar Waxwings, mostly Bohemian. I realize it's hard to tell them apart in the picture; they were easier to see if you were actually there. This shot isn't all 100, because there was more to these trees than my camera could catch, but it's a good shot of them at any rate.
The name made me giggle because it made me think of RENT, and I kept grilling my mom over and over why they were called that, and she obviously didn't know...
XD We were looking at them through the binoculars (I was driving, but we were stopped) for about 10 minutes, looking at all their super pretty colors on their wings and everything. 
I'm going to dedicate this picture to
, my favorite artist of all time, especially for his love for photography, birds, and all things wild. ^^
